About this Gig
Hello!
I am happy to proofread and edit your German texts. I am a native German speaker and have been a professional proofreader/editor for more than 6 years.
If you're looking for high quality and fair prices, you've come to the right place!
I will correct all texts, especially:
- Websites, Shops
- Books, ebooks
- Academic thesis
- Blog posts
- Amazon or eBay listings
- AI-generated texts
- Instructions, manuals
- Job applications
- etc.
This can include correction and improvement of:
- Punctuation
- Spelling
- Grammar
- Tense issues
- Sentence structure
- Readibility
- Consistency
- Redundancy
- Rephrasing
If you send me a Word-file, you'll get two documents back:
- One, showing all the corrections made (in markup mode)
- One, ready to use
If you want me to correct your website, I can do this in 3 ways:
1) You send me an Excel/CSV file of your site and I make corrections in it
2) You give me access to your website backend
3) I copy all subpages into different Word files and make the corrections in there
>>> And please send me the URL and let me know whether the entire website or only certain subpages
Please contact me before ordering to get a custom offer and to discuss all the details in advance. Thank you!

Delivery style preference
Please inform the freelancer of any preferences or concerns regarding the use of AI tools in the completion and/or delivery of your order.
Clients I’ve worked with
Accor
Hospitality
For Accor, I translated more than 400 Standard Operating Procedures for the Ibis (Styles) hotel brand from English into German (using an AI tool). I then carried out a manual correction/revision, focusing on the technical accuracy of the texts.

Busuu
Language Services
I supported Chegg/Busuu as an editor, working directly with the Busuu team on blog articles. These were written in German by a writer, and my role was to review, edit and polish them before publication. This included improving grammar, style, sentence structure, readability, tone of voice and localization for a German-speaking audience, while coordinating with the writer or team where needed.
