FAQ
What are "commercial rights"?
Commercial Rights are needed for any work that is not strictly for personal use. 99% of projects require them, so they are included in my base price! Example: Any business use or promoting a brand, business, project, product through non-paid channels (your website, regular social media posts, etc).
Do I need Broadcast Rights?
Broadcast Rights apply to any paid for promotion- Radio, TV, podcast and internet ads (yes, this includes paid social media ads!). If any part of your project will be used for any of these it absolutely needs broadcast licensing. If you are unsure, please don't hesitate to contact me!
How much are revisions?
Revisions are $5 for 100 words with an added day to deliver. Ex: 200 words = $10 for revision. (I will work very hard to get your revisions completely quickly and professionally.)
Do you offer WAV files?
Yes, WAV files are the standard way I will deliver your files. If you need an MP3 or other file type please contact me and select that in the gig extras.
What accents or languages do you offer?
I offer the following accents at a high standard of proficiency: Standard American, Standard British, New Zealand, General Canadian, Australian, 'Neutral' English, French, Irish (Dublin), and Scottish (Glaswegian).
Do you offer different voice over styles?
Yes, I can record in any style you want. I can be happy, sad, upbeat, serious, easy going, next door neighbor, friendly, or just about anything you can come up with. Check out my demo to see some of my different styles.
What is your communication policy?
You will receive a message from me shortly after I receive and review your script. Also, I will let you know when I start working on your voice-over. If I have any questions during this process, I will send you another message and wait for your response. I will post final project upon completion.
Will you record a free sample for me so I can see if you are a correct fit?
Yes. I am happy to record a short free sample to make sure my voice fits your requirements before you order. Just send me a message with the full script and instructions and the tone/style you are after and I will send you a snippet.
