How are you and your firm regulated?
My firm is regulated by the ICAEW . Each year I am required to submit evidence of my continuous professional development (CPD), which entails attending seminars etc. on the latest technical and regulatory developments within the accounting world. Firm certificate can be provided upon request.
How many years experience do you have?
I have been working within accounting and finance for 13 years. Of which 7 have been as a qualified Chartered Accountant. Certificate can be provided upon request.
Why are your fees based on individual quotes?
I offer a wide array of services which require different workloads. Furthermore, each client is different in terms of complexity and exact requirements. Consequently, uniformed fees are not appropriate, whereas a bespoke quote will drive a fair price for both the client and myself.
You do not list a service that I require?
My skill set within accounting and finance is very extensive. Therefore, if there is a service you would like that is not included in the above, please reach out to me and I can certainly look into it.
How will you communicate with HMRC on my behalf?
I have an agent's code, issued by HMRC, which can only be obtained by regulated accounting firms. Once the client provides HMRC with authority (which can be done online), I can liaise with HMRC on my client's behalf. I will also be able to submit returns to HMRC using the agent code.
What is a Chartered Accountant?
A Chartered Accountant is someone who has gone through an extensive training period (minimum 3 years) which entails multiple exams spanning accounting, financial management, taxation and other areas. A Chartered Accountant is an expert within the field of accounting and finance.
How much time do you need to prepare and submit my tax return
In order for me to file your personal or corporate tax return on your behalf, I need to request access from HMRC via my approved HMRC agent code. This can take up to 10 working days. Therefore, to be on the safe side, I recommend that you contact me at least 2 weeks before your filing deadline.
