I will record high quality drum tracks for your project
About this gig
Creative and versatile drummer with experience in a wide range of styles.
Hi there. I'm Chris and I'm a native of Melbourne, Australia currently living in Nashville. I have been playing and recording drums for 25 years and have great experience performing a wide range of styles with a variety of artists and bands.
I enjoy recording and adding tracks to people's projects, and I'm fairly creative with what I play. I come from a jazz and jazz-fusion (or jazz-rock) background - something that no doubt flavours what I do and adds a different dimension to the music.
I also specialise in country, pop, rock and groove-based styles, and I aim to add exactly what any client or producer would like to have added to their track.
Feel free to contact me to discuss what you might be after drum-wise on your project.

FAQ
What do I need to provide you for the session?
Generally the backing track/s of course, along with what format you would like the stems in - for example, 24bit/48k, and perhaps some sort of simple description of what you're after, unless you have a drum demo handy. A chart or lead sheet is a helpful time-saver too!
What's you process for working on the drum recording?
Generally I get a feel for the song and the genre, and then build the drum part around that, taking into account what sounds might be needed, ie, the snare sound, cymbal sound, room sound, microphones, etc.
