About this gig
I'm a bass player with 20 years of recording experience and a Berklee graduate. I want to help out songwriters when I can, so feel free to connect first. I just ask that you leave a positive review if you're happy with the experience.
I have over 20 years of experience playing bass professionally in church worship bands, rock and folk bands and jazz groups, as well as hundreds of studio sessions.
I have 4-, 5-, and 6-string basses (P- and J-Bass, modern, vintage, etc.), and newly added electric upright bass and run a pedalboard with effects such as Diamond Bass Compressor, Darkglass overdrive, various other distortions and fuzz pedals, delay, chorus, octave pedal (sounds like a synth), and many others.
I play into a Universal Audio Apollo X4 interface and direct into Logic Pro, where I may add a few tweaks to the sound, or you can select the Mixing & Mastering add-on for me to EQ, compress, or effect the bass in the box.
I am a Berklee College of Music-trained professional bass player, but my main career and focus is in Film Scoring.

Dual-major graduate of Berklee College of Music in Bass Performance and Film Scoring. I primarily work in writing music for film and commercial projects, as well as music for production libraries (ranging from pop to folk to classical and more). I always play bass on all of my projects. I am currently on contract for the video game Fortnite, by Epic Games, to edit audio of popular songs for use in the Jam Stage mode.
I studied bass with Matthew Garrison in Boston and NYC (son of Jimmy Garrison, John Coltrane's bassist), as well as a number of other world-class bass instructors at Berkee.

Who are you?
I went to Berklee College of Music for Bass Performance, and ended up dual majoring with Film Scoring. I now compose primarily for film, but I love playing bass and doing sessions.
What kind of basses do you own?
Yamaha John Patitucci 6-string bass with Bartolini preamp Warwick Infinity LTD 2000 Sire P7 P-Bass w/ flatwounds Sire P5 4-string P-Bass w/ Nordstrand pickups P-Bass fretless with flatwounds and Seymour Duncan 1/4 Pounders Jazz Bass with Fender Vintage J Pickups Kala U-Bass (sounds like an upright)
What is your favorite signal path for bass effects?
Two of my most common uses are: Bass > Darkglass Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 (overdrive machine) > Radial Bassbone V2 (blends the overdriven and clean signal together so it stays FAT) Bass > 3LeafAudio Octabvre (sickest bass octave pedal out there) > Radial Bassbone V2 (blend both signals together)
