FAQ
How can I send you my files, and in what format should I send them?
Please send stems as WAVS in the sample and bit rate they were recorded at (preferably 24-bit and at least 44.1k) by rendering all active audio tracks separately to the same length. Please also make sure all tracks start at 0. You can send the files via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or Dropbox.
Can I send you a reference mix?
Please do! You can send your own reference mix and/or another artist's reference track with your files to help me steer you in the right direction sonically.
Can you tune and align vocals as well as comp and edit tracks?
Yes! I offer basic add-ons in my packages for things like tuning and comping/editing/cleanup, which are generally done separately from the mixing process. If you need more than the lead vocal tuned, comped, or edited, please see my separate Editing package.
How do you want me to send revision notes?
The best practice is to sit with the new mix for at least a day or two to let your ears get adjusted to the new sound of your song and "feel" it. Then take notes on the things you'd like me to adjust for the next revision. You can send that list right in the project chat section to keep things tidy.
Can you provide instrumental mixes for TV/Film?
Yes, I can provide an unmastered instrumental mix, a vocal-only mix, and additional stem mixes as add-ons.
