Shopify custom coding is what I do when your store is close but not quite right. Maybe a section will not save, a discount will not apply, a theme update broke your product page, or your last developer disappeared mid project and left the code half finished.

I am not a theme installer or a store setup service, and I am not going to try to sell you a full redesign you did not ask for.

Will you work directly in my live theme?
No, I always duplicate your theme first and do the work in the copy, then publish once you've approved it. Your live store is never at risk of downtime while I'm working.
What if the bug is actually caused by an app, not the theme?
I diagnose the actual cause before touching anything. If it's an app conflict, I'll tell you clearly and either resolve the conflict in the code or point you to the app developer if it's on their end.
Do I need to give you my Shopify password?
No, add me as a staff account or collaborator with the specific permissions the job needs. Never share your actual login credentials with any freelancer.
My theme has old custom code from a previous developer. Can you still work with it?
Yes, this is one of the most common jobs I take. I read what's there first rather than assuming it needs to be rebuilt, and I only touch what's necessary for your specific request.
