Having had writing experience, I understand how important it is to get some distance from the work and have someone objectively look over it, offering a fresh perspective and detailed and constructive feedback.
As someone who loves to read, I know firsthand how jarring errors can be - disrupting the flow and making it hard to immerse yourself in the story.
With this beta-reading gig, I will provide:
- In-line comments and impressions
- Edits of spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes
- Critique on character development, conflict, setting, plot, world-building, etc.
- 4-page comprehensive reader's report answering any questions you may have plus actionable suggestions for your use.
