Once upon a time, there was a little Mexican girl who loved exploring things, like watching the mud become a delicious 3 layer cake. She grew up and decided to become a scientist to study all the living things and to understand why and how things worked. For many years, she worked in the field of biochemistry and biotechnology, but something was missing. Then she discovered illustration and picture books; she was hooked! Illustration was magic, and it was a place where children were understood and taken care of. Right now, this not-anymore-little-girl is mixing both science and illustration.
