So... what exactly does that mean?
Good question! I will:
- Correct punctuation and grammar (align tenses, subject/verb agreement, etc.)
- Improve flow/readability (reword awkward/clunky sentences)
- Optimize sentence structure (improve clarity and increasing variety)
- Enhance vocabulary (replace words with more descriptive ones)
How?
I'll read your work line by line and make my edits using Track Changes in Microsoft Word. Then I'll send that document back to you, so you can see each edit, along with a 'clean copy' with all edits applied.

Why do you charge more for material written by ghostwriters or people whose first language is not English?
I've sadly had to implement this policy after completing a number of jobs for people whose content was so poorly written that I had to almost entirely rewrite it, causing my hourly rate to plummet! This amount of work is outside the scope of proofreading and editing.
HEY, you're kinda EXPENSIVE - what gives?!
Well, I'm glad you asked. To cover overheads as well as taxes and fees I need to charge more than many non-native "editors" here. I live in an expensive US city and had an expensive education. Remember - good work isn't cheap, and cheap work isn't good!
Will you accept academic work?
No. Fiverr prohibits this. Plus, it's cheating. Shame on you :-p
Will you provide ghostwriting services?
For the right price, yes. You should know that most people offering cheap ghostwriting services here are simply plagiarising existing works by copy/pasting content from the web - they will often use something called "Unicode" to disguise this and fool plagiarism checkers. Don't get ripped off.
What about developmental editing?
If you’re interested in developmental editing (suggesting plot improvements, pointing out inconsistencies, etc.) please ask for a custom quote as this is not included as standard.
Will you deliver chapters/sections as you complete them?
No, generally not. BUT, if that is something you really want then let me know before we agree to work together and I may agree to a milestone delivery.
