FAQ
Do you accept entire manuscripts at once?
If the manuscript is under 30K words, then I will do it in one order. However, most manuscripts are between 60,000 and 100,000 words, so I break up the manuscripts into orders no larger than 30K words at a time until the entire manuscript has been completed.
Do you do non-fiction/self-help/instructional?
Depending on availability and quality of writing, I will occasionally do non-fiction at a custom price.
Do you require a sample for your premium package?
Yes! The premium package requires a tremendous amount of work on my end. I break down the novel to make it as ready for publication as humanly possible. Unfortunately, the quality of writing is taken into consideration with each potential premium client, but I offer custom prices to accommodate.
Do you do manuscripts in UK English?
Yes! I am well versed in US, UK, Canadian, and AUS English.
Are you available for advice after the delivery?
Absolutely. I pride myself on creating relationships rather than business transactions. Regardless if I edited 5,000 or 120,000 words, you are always welcome to reach out to me about my edits or any queries you might have since delivery.
Which manual of style do you use?
An important question, actually. Like all copy editors of fiction and non-fiction in the publishing world, I use Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS). Anyone who claims to use MLA or APA is not a legitimate copy editor.
