What information do we need to start your project?
To begin, we require architectural plans in PDF or DWG format, as these are mandatory. We also need to know the project location, the intended use of the structure (residential, commercial, etc.), and if there is any specific structural code to follow.
What structural codes do you work with?
We work with internationally recognized standards such as IBC (International Building Code), Eurocode, and ASCE 7, tailoring our designs to meet the specific needs and location of each project.
What software do you use for structural design?
We use SAP2000 and ETABS, which are trusted, advanced tools for modeling and analyzing structures. We do not use SAFE or Revit.
Can we request changes after delivery?
Yes, as long as the project maintains the same volume and architecture as initially agreed. Any significant structural changes would require a new analysis, which may incur additional costs.
Will you deliver structural plans and calculation reports?
Yes, we will deliver structural plans in PDF format and the DWG file once the project is complete. The calculation reports will be provided in PDF format.
Can you sign or seal the plans as engineers?
We can sign and seal plans only within our region of practice. For other countries, we will provide the completed structural designs for local review and signing.
Do you offer urgent deliveries?
Generally, we do not offer urgent deliveries, as we prioritize service quality and accuracy. However, if you have a tight deadline and we have the availability, we can agree on a realistic timeline tailored to your project.
Do you design wooden structures?
No, at this time we do not design wooden structures. We specialize in steel and reinforced concrete designs only.
