About this Gig
If you're interested in preparing a piece of creative writing for publication (prose, creative nonfiction, fiction, short stories, essays, poetry, etc), I'd love to help you polish it up! My work has been published in venues like Black Warrior Review, Catapult, Electric Literature, The Florida Review, Indiana Review, The Iowa Review, swamp pink, and others. I'm currently earning my PhD in Creative Writing and Literature and can help you edit with an eye toward:
- Making your writing grab attention & stand out among other talented writers
- Creating unique and memorable characters
- Maintaining pacing and clarity
- Starting and finishing strong
- Avoiding overdone or cliche elements
- Grammatically correct and polished products
