Does the EAA apply to my small business?
If you sell products or services to EU consumers online, most likely yes. Only microenterprises (under 10 staff AND under €2M turnover) have limited exemptions for services. I flag your likely status in every report.
Will this make my website legally compliant?

Why WCAG 2.1 and not 2.2 ?
The EAA's harmonized standard (EN 301 549) is currently based on WCAG 2.1 AA. That's the benchmark regulators use. I note 2.2 improvements as bonus recommendations.
Automated tools only catch some issues — what do you do differently?
