Do you offer revisions and second-passes?
No, I don't do revisions or second-passes for this Gig. This applies to the add-ons as well.
Will you proofread my MG / NA / Adult / Erotica Manuscript?
My priority is YA, but you can send me a message with details about your story (without spoilers, like a query or a blurb), as well as genre and word count, and we can talk about it.
Will you correct, fix, or explain my grammar & spelling errors, typos, etc.?
No, I will not be doing any explanations or corrections to your text. I will only be pointing them out to you so you know exactly where to find them and fix them appropriately. For corrections, check out my Copyediting Gig.
What formats do you accept manuscripts in?
I work with Word documents (.doc / .docx) and PDF files.
What does the Beta Reading add-on entail?
On top of proofreading your manuscript, I will also look at it from a reader´s perspective and give you my honest opinion, feedback, and constructive criticism in a reader report up to 1-3 pages, focusing on plot, characters and story.
What does the Editorial Report add-on entail?
I will make a list of your manuscript´s weaknesses in a separate document up to 1-3 pages. This will be especially useful to keep an eye out for your most common errors, darlings, etc. and, if possible, fix them or avoid them in the future.
Will you proofread my Spanish YA Manuscript?
You can send me a message with details about your story (without spoilers, like a query or a blurb), as well as genre and word count, and we can talk about it.
Is my manuscript safe with you?
Yes. You own the rights (copyright) to your manuscript/book/novel from the moment you put it into written words. Sharing it with me won't change that. I will keep your manuscript safe and won't share it or talk about it with anyone else.
What genres do you LIKE to read in YA?
Romance and Contemporary are my top favorites. But I also like: Fantasy, Historical, Dystopian, Urban Fantasy, Magical Realism, Paranormal, Supernatural, Crime, Mystery, and Sci-Fi. The key for me is to have some level of romance in every story, as a main plot or a subplot. I just love it!!
What genres do you NOT like to read?
I don't read Horror, Psychological, or Space Opera. In both YA and Adult fiction. I also don't read Non-Fiction.
