Congratulations! You've finished writing your book and are now looking for someone to treat your manuscript with care and ensure it looks and sounds polished, professional, and engaging. That's where I come in!
- While proofreading, I check your manuscript for correct spelling and grammar, syntax, punctuation, capitalization, verb tense, and more.
- While copy editing, I proofread and revise your manuscript by considering word choice, sentence structure/length, clarity, flow, and more, and I will provide you with feedback to help you continue improving your work. My ultimate goal as I do this is to maintain your unique voice as an author!

FAQ
What document formats do you work with?
I prefer Microsoft Word but am also comfortable with Google Docs if that is your preference! I CANNOT edit from PDFs.
What genres do you work with?
I can edit comfortably in any genre! For fiction, I have edited in the romance, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, YA, mystery, and historical fiction genres. For nonfiction, I have edited self-help books, memoirs, fitness guides, personal finance books, and children's books, among others.
Can you edit in UK English?
Yes, I can! I am American but am comfortable following UK English spelling, grammar, and punctuation rules if needed.
How will I know if you will be a good fit for my manuscript?
Hiring an editor for your novel is a huge investment! To help ensure we will be a good fit, I offer a $10 sample package. This allows me to give my full proofreading & copy editing treatment to a 750-word sample of your manuscript so that you can assess if our styles mesh well together.
