What types of scripts do you edit?
I edit YouTube and other video scripts, video essays, podcast and voiceover scripts, explainers, educational content, commentary, entertainment, and documentary-style scripts.
Which editing package should I choose?
Choose Script Proofread for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency; Script Copyedit for additional clarity, flow, and concision; or Script Polish for deeper line-level work on voice, pacing, rhythm, engagement, and spoken delivery.
How will I receive my edited script?
I’ll return a Word document with Track Changes, a clean copy with the edits accepted, and comments or queries where helpful. If you need another file format, please message me before ordering.
How do you calculate script running time?
I base running time on approximately 150 spoken words per minute, so a 10-minute package covers roughly 1,500 words. If your script is unusually fast- or slow-paced, feel free to message me before ordering.
Can you edit a script longer than 10 minutes?
Yes. You can add additional recording time for slightly longer scripts. For substantially longer scripts, message me and I can create a custom offer based on the length and level of editing required.
What does a revision include?
A revision covers reasonable adjustments to the edit I delivered. It does not include editing newly added or substantially rewritten material, replacement sections, or a new version of the script.
Do you write or completely rewrite scripts?
This gig is for editing existing scripts rather than writing them from scratch. I may rephrase or restructure individual sentences where needed, particularly with the Script Polish package, but full rewrites and original scriptwriting are not included.
Can you edit both US and UK English?
Yes. I’m a native US English speaker based in the UK and can edit according to either US or UK English conventions. Just let me know your preferred variety when ordering.
Can you edit AI-generated scripts?
Yes. I can edit AI-assisted or AI-generated scripts to improve clarity, natural phrasing, flow, repetition, rhythm, and spoken delivery. Fact-checking and original research are not included unless agreed separately.
