I am a trained writer and Digital film student whose work in technical and business writing has been used in documents dealing with bids and sales of contract work exceeding 100,000 dollars. I am continually working on expanding my portfolio and professional talents. I am primarily a writer and miniature artist, though I have worked in sales and logistics. While my professional career has focused on business writing, I also work on fictional and creative writing.
FAQ
What kind of bases can you do?
I am fully capably with rocky and sandy bases as well as ones mimicking fields. I am currently working on water/resin bases so those are an option but are not something I have done often. Buyer Beware.
How do you make sure the miniature isn't damaged in shipping?
I pull out all the stops to make sure that the miniature is well protected with packing materials and bubble wrap so that the miniature stays as intact as possible during shipping. I also offer free varnishing to all minis. Though this can dull the paint, it helps prevent scratching.
What minis do you do best?
I tend to have my best successes with larger miniatures or ones with many raised edges. Other miniatures still turn out good, but I would recommend sticking with the basic tier or standard tier for character miniatures.
Do you paint custom minis from Hero Forge?
I paint will anything you are willing to send me! I have even made decent work using miniatures in a recently created Magic the Gathering game and Scythe. I can work with anything. But remember, the paint job quality does depend on the miniature somewhat.
Can I give you my character design to get my character painted?
Absolutely! A reference page, or even just a simple description, gives me a great place to start to make sure your miniature is where you want it to be. I also offer the chance to revise or change my work with each tier so that you can fine tune your mini with me.
Is it ok if I don't have any inspirations for you?
100%! I am perfectly comfortable working with my own instincts on a piece. I assure you, the mini is in good hands! If you decide you want to modify my design later, then we can certainly use your revisions for it.
