About this Gig

I am a former University of Florida Research Demographer, where I produced official population projections for the state and worked closely with U.S. Census data and demographic analysis. My work combines historical demography, archival research, geographic analysis, and property history to uncover hidden stories, migration patterns, and historical relationships embedded within Census and archival records.

I specialize in:

  • Historical Census research
  • Civil War-era and 19th-century records
  • Historical property and neighborhood research
  • Archival mapping and aerial imagery
  • Historical GIS and geographic interpretation
  • Demographic reconstruction and migration analysis

Much of this work involves piecing together fragmented historical records to reconstruct households, properties, neighborhoods, and historical populations across time. Whether researching generational lineage, a historic property, or a broader historical question, my goal is to produce organized, well-documented findings grounded in archival and demographic evidence.
