What technology stack do you use to build the marketplace?
I build the platform using modern, high-performance web frameworks (like Next.js and Nest.js) combined with Redis for lightning-fast caching, BullMQ for backend file processing, and robust relational or non-relational databases.
How is the 10% platform commission processed?
It is completely automated via Stripe Connect. When a buyer pays a seller, the transaction happens directly, and the system instantly splits the payment, routing 90% to the seller and your 10% cut directly into your platform account.
Do I need to manually manage global sales tax or VAT?
No. The system leverages Stripe Tax to automatically calculate the correct local tax based on the seller's and buyer's locations. Because it is a direct peer-to-peer transaction, your platform remains tax-exempt from their trades.
Can the platform handle large digital files like videos and heavy ZIP files?
Yes. The backend utilizes BullMQ background workers to handle heavy file operations, thumbnail generation, and video processing in the background. This keeps the main user interface incredibly fast and prevents crashes.
Are hosting and domain registration included in the price?
No. You will need to purchase your own domain and hosting provider (such as AWS, Render, or Vercel). I will provide the complete, clean source code and can assist with deployment settings as needed.
