I offer three levels of editing varying in price and attention, so you can pick what works for you and your story! If you just want to clean up the grammar and punctuation, choose copyediting. If you want to improve your writing and tell the story in a more engaging way, choose line editing. If you need another set of eyes to analyze the plot and give recommendations to make the book ready for publication, choose developmental editing. How can I tell what type of editing I need?
Editing depends on your publishing goals. If you're self-publishing, you'll need to do all three types of editing at some point in the process. If you're querying, I'd recommend getting some developmental feedback on the story and line editing to help the writing.
