Now you might be wondering what readers might think of your work.

I'm here to help. I love reading and even more so when I feel a connection/ability to communicate with the author and provide feedback that I think will improve the manuscript!

***IMPORTANT***

"Beta reading" has different meanings to different people.

For me, and this service/gig, I define beta reading as expressing my opinion about the manuscript as a READER of a book that is already edited (either professionally or to the best of your ability). Not as a writer.

I will comment on:

If/when a character is irritating me, losing my interest, exciting me, when I relate to the character, etc.

Where I'm catching myself skimming (I will mark where I want to start skimming, where I stop skimming, and I'll try to note what it was that made me not want to read that material.

Where my attention dragged or picked up.

Where I'm confused or uncertain about details.

Etc.

This gig only includes the in-line comments on the document. No reader report, evaluation letter, or additional critique outside of the comments.
