12 with Basic, 20 with Standard and Premium. Google currently asks for 12 testers opted in for 14 days on new personal developer accounts. Check the current rule in your Play Console, because it has changed before.
Are the testers real people?
Yes. Real people on real Android devices. I never use bots, emulators or fake accounts, because Google can reject or suspend accounts for that.
What do you need from me?
Your closed testing opt-in link, your app name, and a short note on what the app does and what to look at.
How long does it take?
Testers usually join within 24 hours. The closed test then runs for the required 14 days, so every package delivers in 14 days.
Will you find bugs, or just install the app?
Standard and Premium include real testing, and you get a written report on crashes, bugs and usability issues. Basic covers the tester requirement only.
Will this guarantee my app is approved for production?
