Craigmatic is a Barbadian music producer, DJ, mixing and mastering engineer, and owner of Volume Recording Studio. With over 20 years of experience, he specialises in soca, dancehall, reggae, bashment, hip-hop, R&B and Afro-Caribbean music. His work includes recording, vocal production, custom instrumentals, remixes, riddim projects and release-ready mixes and masters. His experience as an international DJ helps him create music that sounds powerful on streaming platforms, radio, clubs and sound systems.

FAQ
What files should I send for mixing?
Please send properly labelled WAV stems, all exported from the same starting point. You should also include a rough mix, BPM, song key if known, and one or two reference songs. Preferably at 24-bit/48kHz.
What files should I send for mastering?
Please send one high-quality WAV file of your finished mix. Remove any limiter or heavy master processing and leave enough headroom to avoid clipping. Preferably at 24-bit/48kHz.
Do you work with all genres?
Yes. I work with dancehall, soca, reggae, bashment, hip-hop, R&B, afrobeat and many other genres. Caribbean music is one of my main specialties.
Can you tune and edit vocals?
Yes. Vocal tuning, timing correction and advanced editing can be included depending on the package or added as an extra.
Will my song be ready for streaming platforms?
Yes. Your final master will be prepared for release on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and other digital services.
Can you create clean, instrumental or acapella versions?
Yes. Alternate versions can be included in selected packages or added as a Gig Extra.
Do you use analog equipment?
I can use selected studio hardware when required. Availability depends on the package and the needs of your song.
What is a revision?
A revision covers reasonable changes to the completed mix or master based on your original instructions. It does not include replacing the instrumental, recording new vocals or changing the full creative direction.
Can you improve poorly recorded vocals?
I can reduce certain issues and improve the overall sound, but the final quality will still depend on the original recording. Please send a sample before ordering if you are unsure.
Should I contact you before ordering?
Yes, especially for songs with many stems, heavy vocal editing, stem mastering, multiple versions or special delivery requirements.
