About this Gig

This gig is an extension of my developmental editing gig, so check that out to learn more about me and see reviews! I wanted to offer a big-picture edit of outlines themselves because, often, the major problems I find in developmental edits are right there in the skeleton outlines. This is a way to get feedback on your novel quickly, just looking at those large-scale pieces. Developmental edits take about a month (and can be expensive!), so consider booking this gig if you fall into one of these two camps:

A writer who has not yet written a book but has an outline. At this stage you may want to get feedback to make sure the story WORKS before putting the effort into getting that draft on the page.
A writer with any level of draft that still has lingering developmental issues. If you want me to take a look at your structure, plot, character arcs, and character motivations, I'd love to see if we can spark a solution just by tweaking the outline.
