Do you format books for printing?
Yes, any sort of children's books is covered by this gig. Contact me for more questions.
Do you design layouts for children's books?
Yes, I can work with illustrations that do not have text placed on them and create a nice layout for your children's book. It would be best if you contact me before you even order illustrations from your illustration so I can give you instructions how to properly size them, position spaces for text.
Do you create illustrations?
No, I am not an illustrator so I don't create illustrations. I do the job that's needed after you get illustrations done and that is formatting, placing all the illustrations, title page, copyright page and others in one book file which is ready for submitting to any of the platforms.
Is this price for both eBook and printed versions or only one?
The prices mentioned in my gig are for one version, either eBook or paperback or hardback. However, if you need for example eBook and paperback versions to be done I'll provide you with a discount.
Does this gig include cover formatting as well?
Yes, if you have cover design ready, this gig covers the formatting as well. If cover design is needed I charge that extra.
How many children's book have you formatted by now?
With extensive experience formatting around 250-300 children's books, I am well-versed in the ins and outs of most self-publishing platforms. I can provide comprehensive guidance for your publishing journey, from start to finish, ensuring a successful outcome.
I don't have illustrations created, what should I do?
Reach out to an illustrator for illustrations in your book. If you contact me prior to that, I can assist you in determining the book and illustration dimensions, as well as guide you through the entire preparation process for your book.
