Do I need to provide login credentials for the scan?
It depends on your package. For the Basic and Standard tiers, I only need your website URL to perform an external (unauthenticated) scan. If you select the Premium tier and want me to test private user dashboards or checkout pages, you will need to provide a temporary testing account login.
Will the OWASP ZAP security scan crash or slow down my live website?
No. I configure the active scanning profiles to execute safely without flooding your server with overwhelming traffic. However, to ensure absolute safety, it is always a best practice to run security assessments on a staging or development clone of your website if available.
Do you patch or fix the security vulnerabilities yourself?
