What information should I provide before ordering?
Please provide your Proxmox version, number of nodes, server specifications, network and storage layout, current issue, expected outcome, and relevant error messages. Contact me before ordering if you are unsure which package fits your project.
Do you support existing Proxmox installations?
Yes. I can troubleshoot and improve an existing Proxmox VE installation, including networking, storage, VM, LXC, backup, firewall, repository, cluster, and performance issues.
Can you install Proxmox VE on my dedicated server?
Yes, provided that the server supports virtualization and you have authorized administrative access or a remote management console such as IPMI, iDRAC, iLO, or KVM.
Do you configure VLANs, bridges, bonding, IPv4, and IPv6?
Yes. I can configure Linux bridges, VLANs, network bonding, routed or bridged addresses, and IPv4 or IPv6 according to your provider and network design.
Do you configure Proxmox Backup Server?
I can connect Proxmox VE to an existing Proxmox Backup Server and configure backup jobs, schedules, retention, and verification. Installing a new backup server may require an extra or custom offer.
Is high availability or Ceph included?
No. High availability, Ceph, production clusters, live migration, and multi-node storage require infrastructure assessment and a custom offer. Please contact me before ordering.
Will the work cause downtime?
Some installation, networking, storage, kernel, or cluster changes may require a reboot or maintenance window. I will explain the expected impact before performing disruptive changes.
Do I need to provide root access?
Administrative access is normally required. Please do not send passwords or private keys in your initial message. Access requirements and a secure method will be agreed upon after the scope is confirmed.
Can you recover a failed Proxmox node or deleted VM?
Recovery depends on the condition of the node, disks, storage, and available backups. Please contact me first with the symptoms and logs. Successful recovery cannot be guaranteed before assessment.
Do you provide ongoing Proxmox management?
Yes. Ongoing maintenance may include health checks, update planning, backup verification, storage and cluster review, and priority support. Monthly management is available through an eligible subscription or custom offer.
