Does developmental editing include proofreading or line editing?
No. Developmental editing focuses on the bigger picture of your story. Line editing improves sentence-level writing, while proofreading checks for final surface errors. These are separate services.
Can you edit my entire novel?
My listed packages cover only the word counts shown in the package details. Please contact me before ordering a longer manuscript so we can agree on the scope, price, and delivery time.
Which genres do you work with?
I focus on fiction. Please send me your genre and subgenre before ordering a large project so I can confirm that it fits my reading and editing experience.
Will you rewrite my story for me?
No. I provide editorial comments and revision suggestions to help you strengthen your own writing. You remain in control of your story, characters, and creative decisions.
What file format should I send?
Microsoft Word (.docx) is preferred because it supports comments and annotations. Please contact me before ordering if your manuscript is only available as a PDF or another format.
Can I submit a sample chapter first?
Yes. The Basic package is designed for a short excerpt or chapter within its stated word limit.
What does the revision option cover?
One revision covers clarification of the delivered feedback, within the original scope. It does not include a new full-manuscript review or a second developmental edit after extensive rewriting.
Do you guarantee that my book will be published or become a bestseller?
No. Editorial feedback is intended to help you identify revision opportunities. Publication decisions and reader responses cannot be guaranteed.
