FAQ
Do you just run an automatic repair tool?
No. Auto-repair tools like Meshmixer's auto-fix or Netfabb's basic repair often patch surface symptoms while leaving deeper geometry errors intact — or introduce new problems.
What if my file is too complex or cannot be fixed?
This is exactly why I ask you to send the file before ordering. I review every file for free upfront. If your file is beyond repair or would require a full rebuild rather than a repair, I will tell you honestly before you spend anything. I will also advise on your best next steps at no charge.
Which slicers do you test repaired files in?
I test in Cura, PrusaSlicer, Chitubox and Lychee depending on your printer type — FDM or resin. If you use a specific slicer, let me know when you send your file and I will confirm compatibility in that slicer before delivery.
What file formats do you accept and deliver?
I primarily work with STL files. I can also accept OBJ files and convert or repair those for 3D printing. All repaired files are delivered back as STL unless you specifically request another format. If you have a different format, message me first and I will confirm whether I can work with it.
How do I send you my file?
Once you message me before ordering, I will provide instructions for sharing your file. You can attach it directly in Fiverr messages (if under 100MB) or share via Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer for larger files.
Will the repair change the shape or appearance of my model?
No. My goal is always to fix geometry errors while preserving your original design intent 100%. In rare cases where a severe error requires a small local mesh correction.
What if I am not satisfied with the repair?
Every package includes revisions. If the repaired file still has issues after delivery, message me immediately with specifics and I will correct it within the revision window. I do not consider an order complete until your file actually prints.
