Do you combine monthly Excel files by hand and then repeat the same cleanup every time new files arrive?
I can build a scoped Power Query workflow that combines compatible Excel files into a refreshable master table. We will agree the input columns, cleanup rules, and output before work starts. What files can you combine?
I combine compatible .xlsx workbooks with one agreed sheet/table layout, header row, required columns, and data types. Send redacted samples first. CSV, PDF, Google Sheets exports, protected files, and mixed schemas require separate review.
Will the result refresh when I add another monthly file?
The workflow can be built around a folder source and refresh steps. The source folder and workbook location must follow the handoff instructions. Refresh behavior should be checked against your sample environment before delivery; compatibility with an unseen workbook cannot be guaranteed.
What does compatible file mean?
Files use the agreed sheet/table layout, required columns, data types, and folder convention. A file that changes headers or layout may require a new rule or exception handling.
Does the service remove duplicates?
Only if duplicate keys and the desired behavior are agreed before the order. No generic deduplication is included by default.
Can you add validation and error reports?
Standard includes one agreed exception check; Premium up to three validation/exception checks. Basic has no separate exception check. Each check needs a rule and expected example. The synthetic portfolio demonstrates specific checks, not every possible business rule.
Do I need Microsoft Excel?
Yes. The demonstrated deliverable uses desktop Excel with Power Query. The client may need to update the folder path parameter on their computer.
Can you make a dashboard or VBA macro too?
Not in these packages. Dashboards, VBA, complex formulas, and unrelated functionality need a separate scope review.
Is your sample paid client work?
No. It is a synthetic-data portfolio sample. The proof pack and report describe the exact recorded scenarios and their limits.
What are the package limits and what counts as a revision?
See Pricing for each tier's file, row, size, rule, delivery, and revision limits. All files need one compatible schema. Revisions adjust only agreed work; new rules or deliverables need a separate quote. Pilot limits are commercial scope, not tested capacity guarantees.
