FAQ
Why are my Square POS and online store inventory quantities different?
Stock differences may come from location settings, duplicate SKUs, disconnected items or sync delays. I review item mapping and inventory settings to identify the cause and configure supported synchronization.
How do Toast POS modifiers handle required choices and extra charges?
I configure modifier groups, minimum and maximum selections, required options and additional prices. This helps customers select the right meal options and keeps order details clear for kitchen staff.
What causes Clover POS orders to print at the wrong kitchen station?
Incorrect item routing, printer assignments or device settings can send orders to the wrong station. I review supported routing settings. Physical printer connections may require someone at your location.
How does Shopify POS handle inventory across multiple store locations?
I review location assignments, available stock and fulfillment settings so each store uses the intended inventory. Your Shopify plan, POS subscription and integration features determine the available options.
Will POS data migration preserve my sales history and customer records?
Migration depends on what each platform can export and import. Products, customers, gift cards and sales history have different restrictions. I confirm transferable fields and limitations before making changes.
Why are restaurant orders missing from my POS after an online purchase?
Possible causes include expired integration access, incorrect location mapping or unsupported order channels. I check the connection and order settings, then test the supported workflow within the agreed scope.
How are duplicate products and mismatched SKUs handled during POS integration?
I compare existing records and agree on a matching rule before importing. Depending on platform support, matching may use SKUs, item IDs or barcodes. This helps prevent duplicate products and incorrect stock updates.
What happens to existing POS settings while the new configuration is being tested?
I review the current setup and agree on a change window before applying updates. Where supported, I export relevant data first. Test orders and payment checks are planned with you to limit disruption during trading ho
Which account permissions are needed for Square, Toast, Clover or Shopify POS setup?
Use a staff or collaborator account with permissions for the agreed tasks where available. Keep ownership and banking access under your control. You complete identity checks, verification codes and sensitive payment
Does restaurant POS integration include custom APIs or paid third-party apps?
The package covers only the agreed supported connection. Custom API development, middleware and additional integrations require separate scoping. App subscriptions and platform fees are confirmed before setup.
