I will write and polish your video game dialogue with authentic character voice
Stories That Feel Alive
About this Gig
A great story isn't enough. Your characters need real voice.
One of the most common problems in indie games: solid plot, interesting world, but every character talks the same way. Same rhythm and same tone. Players notice. It flattens the experience.
I write and polish dialogue that gives your characters actual voice. A grizzled mercenary shouldn't speak like a scholar. A traumatized survivor shouldn't sound like a cheerful sidekick. Each character deserves their own patterns, silences, tics and rhythm.
What you get:
- Dialogue scenes written from scratch, OR
- Existing dialogue polished and rewritten for voice consistency
- Character voice guide (Standard/Premium)
- Delivered in English and Spanish, ready to implement
- Choose your pack based on how many scenes you need. Each scene up to 500 words (a full conversation).
Why me: Lead writer on Dominus: Tales of Old. Author of the novel El corazón del abismo (4.6 Amazon). 6+ years writing about video games. My dialogue samples in Dominus (Eric-Elena scene) show what "character voice" actually means in practice.
Send me your project. Let's give your characters something worth listening to.

FAQ
What counts as "one scene"?
A scene is a self-contained dialogue exchange up to 500 words. For example: a conversation at a tavern, a confrontation between two characters, an NPC interaction, a cutscene dialogue. Very long scenes (2000+ words) count as multiple scenes; I'll let you know before starting.
What's the difference between writing from scratch and polishing?
Writing from scratch: you send me a scene description, character info and context; I write the full dialogue. Polishing: you send me existing dialogue and I rewrite it for voice consistency, natural flow and character differentiation. Polishing takes less time per scene.
Do you write in any specific genre?
My specialty is RPG, dark fantasy and narrative-driven games (soulslikes, aventures, visual novels). I also work comfortably with horror, mystery, sci-fi and comedy. For very specific tones (kids' games, extreme edgelord, romance-focused) contact me before ordering to check fit.
Do you use AI to write?
I use AI as a support tool (brainstorming, alternative variants, revision), but character voice, decisions and final phrasing are 100% mine. Dialogue is where AI is weakest and human criteria matters most; that's why my work is worth its price.
What's the "character voice guide"?
A short document (2-4 pages) describing each character's speech patterns: vocabulary, rhythm, verbal tics, what they say vs what they don't, register (formal/casual), typical sentence length. It's the reference so any future writer (you, me or another) can keep the voice consistent.
Can you match an existing dialogue style?
Yes. Send me 2-3 examples of the tone you want (from your own game or from other games/books/shows) and I'll match it. This is one of my strongest skills as a writer with journalism background: I've been analyzing and imitating voices for years.
Do you accept all projects?
No. I reserve the right to decline projects that don't align with my professional criteria or personal principles. If for any reason I can't accept your order, I'll let you know immediately and refund any payment in full.
