FAQ
What materials or information do I need to provide to get started?
You can share hand sketches, inspiration images, competitor references, or specific target dimensions. If you have clear brand guidelines, frame materials (acetate, titanium, injection mold), or lens color targets, providing those upfront streamlines the initial review process.
What file formats will the factory need to begin manufacturing?
Frame factories require a detailed PDF tech pack containing 2D vector technical drawings with exact callouts, pantone/acetate color codes, and hardware specs. For custom molded frames, native vector files (AI/EPS) and 3D CAD models (STEP/IGES) are provided.
Can you create 3D renderings from hand sketches or existing samples?
Yes. I convert 2D hand sketches, photos of physical eyewear, or vector drawings into photorealistic 3D renderings that depict realistic frame textures, lens transparency, surface reflections, and hinge details
Do you design both metal and acetate eyewear frames?
Yes. I handle technical development for cellulose acetate, stainless steel, titanium, injection-molded plastics, and hybrid metal-acetate frame constructions.
How are revisions handled if the factory requests a minor structural change?
All packages include Unlimited Revisions. If your manufacturing partner requests slight adjustments to bridge thickness, hinge placement, or temple angle after reviewing the initial draft, the updates are made promptly.
