What is the maximum recommended height for a 3D puff cap logo?
For standard snapbacks and fitted caps, the ideal maximum height is 2.25 to 2.5 inches to ensure the design stays within the printable curved area without hitting the seam border.
Can any logo be turned into 3D puff embroidery?
Not all logos work for 3D puff. Small text, intricate details, and thin lines under 2mm do not allow room for foam placement. Send me your design before ordering so I can evaluate it for free!
Do you digitize for unstructured or soft-crown caps?
Yes! Please let me know if your cap is structured (hard buckram front) or unstructured (soft dad hat), as each requires different underlay and pull compensation.
What file formats do commercial cap machines need?
Most commercial cap machines (Tajima, Barudan, Ricoma, Melco) run smoothly on .DST files, which are included with every order alongside your specific machine format.
What if the foam shows through the stitching during my test run?
