FAQ
Can you work from a hand sketch or a photo?
Yes, as long as all the dimensions are shown. If something is missing or unclear, I will ask you before I start modeling.
Do you deliver SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or other native files?
No. I deliver STEP, IGES and STL, which open in any CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, CATIA, FreeCAD...). You can import the STEP and keep working on it.
Can you model threads, chamfers and fillets?
Yes. I model standard metric and imperial threads (ISO, UNC/UNF, BSP), chamfers, fillets, holes and pockets exactly as shown in your drawing.
Do you work in millimeters or inches?
Both. The model will be delivered in the same units as your drawing, unless you ask for a different one.
What if the model has an error?
I check every dimension against your drawing before delivery. If something is still wrong, I will fix it for free, even if you have no revisions left.
Which package should I choose?
Basic for one simple part (plate, bracket, shaft). Standard for a part with more features or up to 3 simple parts. Premium for complex parts or small assemblies. Not sure? Send me your drawing and I will tell you.
