What do you need to start my PCB enclosure design?
Please send the PCB STEP file or exact dimensions, component heights, connector and button locations, mounting needs, reference sketches, preferred enclosure style, and target process such as FDM, SLA or injection molding.
Can you design around Arduino, Raspberry Pi or ESP32 boards?
Yes, if you provide an accurate board model, dimensions or reliable component information. I can create the mechanical enclosure around the board, ports and components.
Which CAD file formats can you deliver?
Depending on the package, I can deliver STEP, STL, SLDPRT or SLDASM, PDF technical drawings and JPG or PNG renders. Tell me the format your printer, manufacturer or engineering workflow requires before I begin.
Can you make the enclosure ready for 3D printing?
Yes. I can design with 3D printing in mind, including wall thickness, clearances, orientation considerations, screw features and assembly. Final print results still depend on your printer, material, process settings and tolerances.
Can you create snap fits, screw bosses and ventilation?
Yes. Snap fit concepts, screw bosses, PCB standoffs, vents, cable openings, ports and mounting features can be included according to package scope. Complex mechanisms or many custom features may require a custom offer.
Do you design enclosures for injection molding?
I can consider common manufacturability factors when the scope matches my capability. Tooling ready DFM, mold-flow analysis, certification or manufacturer sign off are not automatically included and should be discussed before ordering.
Can you modify my existing electronics enclosure?
Yes. Send the existing STEP, SolidWorks, STL or other usable CAD file plus a marked-up sketch or list of changes. I can adjust ports, dimensions, mounts, vents or other agreed features within the package scope.
