I focus on clean design, responsive layouts and straightforward editing. My projects include artist portfolios, custom galleries, availability filters, enquiry forms and simplified dashboards.
I also create illustrated guides tailored to each website, giving clients clear instructions for everyday tasks after handover.
I work with artists, creatives and small businesses, with careful attention to the details that make a website practical to use and manage.
FAQ
What does custom design mean?
I design the visual layout around your content, audience and goals rather than install a premade demo design. WordPress, standard blocks and appropriate plugins provide the editing and functionality. This does not mean every underlying component is written from zero.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. Normal page text and images use native WordPress editing. Shops use WooCommerce product and order screens. Every package includes a short illustrated guide for the everyday updates included in your scope.
What do I need before we start?
Ready-to-use text, images you have permission to use, business/artist details, your chosen pages and suitable WordPress hosting. If you do not have a logo, we can use a simple text treatment. Branding design is separate. Submit the complete brief before the delivery clock starts.
What is included in search setup?
Yoast SEO Free setup for the included pages, titles and descriptions, sensible heading structure, descriptive image text, sitemap and indexing checks. It does not include keyword research, backlinks, ongoing SEO, paid licences or guaranteed rankings.
Are hosting and other costs included?
No. You own and pay for your domain, hosting, mail delivery account and any paid licences or services. I help connect one domain and deploy the agreed site to one suitable host. Email-service setup is included where straightforward and required; new mailboxes and provider migrations need a quote.
What counts as a revision?
One consolidated round of changes to the agreed design or content. New pages, new features, a new design direction or replacement of all supplied content are extra work. The included rounds are listed per package.
How does support work?
Basic/Starter includes 7 days of help using the delivered site, Standard 14 and Premium/Advanced 30, beginning at delivery/handover. Support covers the included editing and configuration. I correct build defects reported within 30 days of delivery. New content or new features are outside support.
How are pages and content counted?
Each content page includes up to 6 sections and 600 supplied words, unless your package sets another section limit. Image/product caps vary by package. Shop system pages and up to 3 plain policy pages using your supplied text are outside the page count. Product pages count as products.
Which package should I choose?
Show Your Work is a single-page introduction. Build Your Portfolio gives collections and your story separate pages. Sell Your Art adds a working shop with Stripe. The visual design is custom in every tier.
Can I sell originals and prints?
Yes, in Sell Your Art. The included 10 simple products can be original works or prints in one fixed size each. Multiple sizes, print-on-demand or fulfilment integrations need a separate quote.
