FAQ
Which platforms do you support?
Rive files work across Flutter, React, Unity, Web (JS/Canvas), iOS, Android, and Unreal. Tell me your target platform and I’ll build and test the animation with that runtime in mind.
Can you animate my existing artwork?
Yes. Send AI, SVG, PSD, PNG, or Figma files. Layered files work best because I can rig each part separately. If your art is flattened, I can separate it for an extra fee.
Can you design the character from scratch?
Yes. Add the Custom Character Illustration extra and share a short brief or references. I’ll send a sketch for approval before animating.
Do I get the source files?
Yes. Every package includes the editable .rev file and the export-ready .riv file.
What’s the difference between Rive and Lottie?
Rive supports real-time interactivity through state machines, so animations can react to taps, drags, and game logic. Files are also usually smaller and run smoothly at 60 FPS.
What is a state machine?
It’s the logic that controls when animations play. For example, a character switches from idle to run when a “speed” input changes, or plays a win animation when a trigger fires.
Do you help with integration?
Premium includes integration help. For other packages, you can add Code Integration Support. I’ll show you how to connect inputs and triggers in your code.
Can you make a 2D game character with multiple outfits or skins?
Yes, though this depends on the scope. Message me before ordering and I’ll recommend the right package.
