About this gig
Would you like a specially recorded performance with a personalised message for someone special? A few songs for someone's birthday? A few songs to cheer up someone having a hard time? A few songs for someone you can't see to let them know you're thinking of them?
I can record a performance of up to 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 45 minutes and include any messages for the recipient! The idea came to me from my experiences performing in care homes which I am sadly not able to do at the moment owing to the global pandemic so I have recorded a few videos for residents I know from the homes of songs I know they like and some personal messages for them.

I am an experienced professional banjo player, singer and guitarist. I have toured the world performing and teaching with tours of the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and throughout Europe. I also have five solo albums alongside my work with the Urban Folk Quartet and in various other line ups. I have also performed on stage or in the studio with the likes of Imelda May, Ward Thomas, the Levellers, Joss Stone and Seth Lakeman. I am also one of very few non-Americans to teach at the top American banjo camps.

Are you happy to take requests?
Yes! I used to be a regular performer in pubs and I also work in care homes and schools which often involves me learning songs or tunes at short notice!
What music do you play?
A wide variety! My absolute speciality is folk music from Ireland, Britain and the US but I have a repertoire of well known cover songs from the rock/pop world throughout the decades as well as jazz songs. I also have my own material, more information on which can be found on my website.
How do I send the video to my friend/relative when you've finished it?
I can help with that, no problem. You will download the video from fiverr and then using google drive, wetransfer, youtube, dropbox or another means it's easy enough to send it to your recipient so that all they will need to do is click!
