1.What softwares do you use for your Architectural Drawings?
I mostly use Autodesk AutoCAD for my drawings. I also use software like photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign if the client needs postprocessing/rendered plans or if the client needs file formats in ps, jpeg, tiff, png, Ai, id, pdf and more.
2.What specific informations on the drawing do you need from the client for converting an existing drawing in image or pdf format to dwg?
well...The process of converting images/pdf in to cad needs some important drawing labeling like dimensions/floor level/Area. Images that have no dimensions and floor levels can also be converted to .dwg format...but, they need more time and effort to get the precise drawing converted in to CAD.
3.What specific information's do you need from the client to provide a new cad plans or elevations or sections?
If the project is in the concept level where the client has only concept for the design,Then I listen to his/her ideas and try to come up withy two plan options by site analysis. If the client has made a decision on the design and can provide a sketch, then I would draw the plan based on that.
4.In what formats can you provide the final output?
in 2d drawings, I can provide the final drawing in dwg, dxf, pdf, jpeg, png, tiff, Ai, Id, Ps formats. For 3d cad files, I can convert to fbx, obj, rvt, 3ds and skp formats.
