Absolutely not. Tell me what your target audience is. Whether you're going more commercial or niche. Splatterpunk and pitch-dark, where extremity is the point. Or dark fiction for a general readership, where you want dread without pushing the reader out.
Will you tell me how to fix things?
Only where a fix is obvious. This is what I noticed as a reader. Some of what I flag will be a taste problem rather than a craft problem, and I will say which is which when I can tell.
