Q: Is web scraping legal?
A: Yes, when done properly. I only collect publicly available data and always check a site's robots.txt/terms of service before starting a job. I won't scrape sites that explicitly prohibit it, or collect private/login-protected data.
Q: What if the website I want data from blocks scraping?
A: I'll check this before starting and let you know upfront if there's a problem, rather than after you've ordered. Some sites are much harder to work with than others — I'd rather be upfront about feasibility than promise something I can't reliably deliver.
Q: What format will I get the data in?
A: Whatever suits your use case — Excel, CSV, or a simple database (e.g. SQLite). Let me know your preference before ordering.
Q: Will this work for a site that updates constantly (e.g. prices)?
A: One-off collection is what's included in these packages. If you need ongoing/recurring collection (e.g. daily price tracking), message me first — that's a different scope to a single data pull.
Q: How many pages/records can you handle?
A: Package limits are shown above — for anything beyond the Premium package, message me with details and I can quote a custom price.
Q: Do you scrape social media or login-protected sites?
A: No — this service covers publicly accessible data only. I don't collect data from behind logins or paywalls, or in a way that breaches a platform's terms.
