About this Gig
Need a reliable engineer who can turn your Arduino, ESP32 or NodeMCU idea into a working IoT system, not a demo that breaks in a week?
I'm David, an Electrical & Electronics Engineer (BTech, Mount Kenya University). I've worked hands-on with PLC, VFD, HMI and motor control on live production lines at East African Paper Mills, and co-founded Pexvolt Engineering (solar, automation, security systems).
I designed a Smart Wildlife Monitoring & Surveillance System for Kenyan conservancies: a solar-powered ESP32/NodeMCU network for remote anti-poaching and animal-behavior monitoring, built to survive real off-grid conditions. That same reliability goes into every gig.
As a thank-you, my first 5 clients get 1 free extra revision.
What I can build:
- Custom Arduino/ESP32/NodeMCU firmware
- Sensor & actuator integration (motion, GPS, relays, temperature...)
- Cloud dashboards: Blynk, ThingSpeak, Firebase
- Solar-powered, off-grid IoT systems
- Python automation & data logging
- Add-on: AI surveillance (YOLOv8 computer vision)
I test every circuit and line of code before delivery, and explain how it works. Send your idea and let's build something that works in the real world.

FAQ
I don't see reviews yet - can I trust the quality?
I'm new to Fiverr, but not to engineering. I hold a BTech in Computer & Electronic Systems Engineering and worked on live industrial control systems (PLC/VFD/HMI), plus my own solar-powered IoT wildlife monitoring project shown in my portfolio. Happy to share code samples first if it helps.
Do you only write code, or can you design the hardware too?
Both. I design the sensor/actuator wiring, select components, and write the firmware, so you get a complete working system, not just a code file.
Can you build solar-powered systems that work without permanent Wi-Fi?
Yes - this is exactly what I built for my Smart Wildlife Monitoring project: an off-grid, solar-powered ESP32/NodeMCU setup for remote areas with unreliable connectivity.
Which cloud platforms do you support for dashboards and alerts?
Blynk, ThingSpeak and Firebase are my main platforms. Let me know your preference, or I can recommend the best fit for your project.
What do you need from me before you start?
Your project goal, target hardware (Arduino/ESP32/NodeMCU), the sensors/actuators involved, and your power/connectivity setup. See my requirements section for the full list.
