I will design flex and rigid flex pcbs for wearable and space constrained electronics
Specialist PCB Design for Embedded, Power, Industrial and Flex Electronics
About this Gig
When space is limited, a rigid PCB is not always the right solution. A flex or rigid-flex PCB can route electronics through tight spaces, connect moving sections, reduce wiring, and fit products where a rigid board cannot.
Bend radius, flex zones, layer transitions, stiffeners, rigid-to-flex transitions, component placement, clearances, and manufacturing constraints must work together. A layout can be electrically correct yet create problems when the PCB is bent, assembled, or manufactured.
That's where I can help.

FAQ
What information do you need to start a flex or rigid-flex PCB project?
You can provide a schematic, PCB file, mechanical drawing, enclosure dimensions, component list, or rough concept. Board dimensions, bend locations, bend radius, and rigid/flex sections are especially helpful.
Can you design both flex and rigid-flex PCBs?
Yes. I can design flexible PCBs and rigid-flex boards, including rigid sections, flex regions, transitions, component placement, and manufacturing documentation.
Can you design PCBs for wearable and space-constrained electronics?
Yes. I can work on compact and wearable electronics where board shape, available space, bending, connector placement, and mechanical integration are important.
Can you work with an existing PCB design?
Yes. I can work from an existing schematic or PCB design and adapt the layout for flex or rigid-flex requirements, depending on the project.
Will you provide manufacturing-ready files?
Yes, Deliverables can include Gerber files, drill files, BOM, 3D model, source files, and other required manufacturing documentation.
Can you consider the mechanical requirements of my product?
Yes. If you provide mechanical drawings, enclosure dimensions, bend locations, or 3D models, I can consider these constraints during the PCB design.
Can you help if I don't know whether I need flex or rigid-flex?
Yes. Send me your product concept, mechanical constraints, or existing design. I can review the requirements and help determine which PCB approach is more suitable.
