FAQ
How do I start a project?
Send me a message with your project details and, if available, a reference video, rough cut, script, or treatment. I’ll review the scope, creative direction, timeline, and deliverables before sending a custom offer.
What do I need from you to get started?
Please provide an AAF session with its audio media files. Alternatively, send WAV files at 48 kHz/24-bit, all starting at the same time and maintaining the original project length, plus an HD video reference (1920×1080 preferred).
How long does a project take?
Turnaround depends on the project's duration, complexity, and deliverables. Once I review your materials, I’ll confirm the estimated delivery time. Rush projects may be accommodated depending on availability.
What if my project is longer than 7 minutes?
No problem! Feel free to message me with your project details, and I’ll be happy to review your needs and send you a custom offer tailored to your project.
How much does audio post-production cost?
Every project is quoted individually based on duration, complexity, dialogue repair, sound design, Foley, mixing format, deliverables, and deadline. Contact me with your project details to receive a custom offer tailored to your needs.
What genres do you specialize in?
I work with all genres and styles. Feel free to share your video, and I’ll be happy to review it and provide professional feedback on your audio post-production needs.
Do you offer royalty-free music or original music composition?
Yes! I can source royalty-free tracks from Artlist, Epidemic Sound, or AudioJungle. Please contact me first, as costs depend on your project's needs. Original music composition is also available through a composer on my team for an additional cost.
Does Dolby Atmos or 5.1 mixing have an additional cost?
Yes. 5.1 and Dolby Atmos mixes are quoted separately from stereo, depending on the project’s duration, complexity, and delivery requirements. Contact me to discuss your project and receive a tailored quote.
What happens if the picture changes after audio post-production has started?
We strongly recommend picture lock before audio post begins. Changes may affect synchronization, sound design, editing, and mixing. Significant changes after work has started may require additional conforming or re-sync work, quoted separately.
What software and tools do you use for audio post-production?
I use Avid Pro Tools for professional audio editing, sound design, and mixing, and iZotope RX for dialogue cleanup, audio restoration, and repair. My workflow also includes industry-standard plugins and tools for high-quality film and TV audio post-production.
