FAQ
Can you connect a domain purchased from any provider?
Yes! Whether your domain is from GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, or another registrar, I can connect it to Squarespace smoothly. I’ll handle all the DNS setup and verification for you.
What does this service include?
This gig covers connecting your custom domain to your Squarespace website, configuring DNS settings, and setting up Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) for professional email. I will ensure everything works seamlessly so your website and email function perfectly together
What if my domain is already on Squarespace?
If your domain is registered directly with Squarespace, setup is even easier. I will simply configure your Squarespace DNS and Google Workspace settings directly within your account.
Will my website go down during the domain connection?
No, I will carefully update your Squarespace DNS settings to ensure there’s no downtime during the domain connection process.
What is Google Workspace, and why is it important?
Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) lets you create a custom email address (like you@yourdomain.com) and integrates tools like Gmail, Drive, and Calendar. Connecting it through Squarespace makes your communication professional and reliable.
Do I need a Google Workspace account first?
Not necessarily. I can set up Google Workspace for you or help connect your existing account to Squarespace DNS and email routing.
How long does the setup take?
Most Squarespace domain connections and Google Workspace setups are completed within 1–2 days, depending on domain registrar response times.
What do you need from me to begin?
To start the connect domain to Squarespace setup, please provide: 1. Access to your Squarespace account 2. Access to your domain registrar or DNS records 3. Access or invitation to your Google Workspace account (if applicable)
Will you help me after setup?
Yes! I’ll provide step-by-step guidance on managing your Squarespace DNS settings and Workspace email, along with limited post-setup support to ensure everything runs smoothly.
