FAQ
Do you remove ALL the ums?
Not all ums are the same. Some are attached to other words which makes removing them very difficult and the end result sounds very unnatural and choppy. You want your podcast to sound as natural as possible, therefore it's better to leave them in then to make a bad edit while trying to remove them.
Can you remove ALL background noise from my audio?
I use advanced tools to significantly reduce or remove background noise. However, total removal depends on the source quality. While most noises can be minimized without affecting your voice, some heavy distortion might remain. Contact me for a free sample if you're unsure.
Can you remove any echo/reverb?
Removing reverb or echo is very difficult and it can't be removed completely but ti can be reduced.
Do I have to provide times and locations for edits?
No. I listen to/watch your entire file to remove ums, ahs, long pauses, and stutters. You only need to provide timestamps if there are specific sections of the conversation you want manually removed or if you have special instructions for certain parts.
Which audio/video format do you need from me?
For audio, WAV or high-quality MP3 is preferred. For video, MP4 or MOV works best. Please provide the raw files without any processing. If you have multiple camera angles or separate mic tracks, send them all! I can handle any standard format you have.
Do you edit video podcasts?
YES, I provide full video editing, including multi-cam switching, basic color grading, titles, captions etc. Please make sure to add the "Video Editing 10 Min" extra for the total duration of your episode when placing your order.
My file is too big to upload, what now?
You can upload your file to Dropbox or Google Drive (both have free versions) and then you create and share the link to me in the order window. It is not necessary to have any contact info from me to do this. Just paste the shared link and I can grab your file.
Do you offer express delivery?
Yes, please message me to check if I'm available to offer a faster delivery.
Do you offer discounts on bulk orders?
Yes, please message me to discuss all the details.
Do you offer music?
No, music is a very subjective matter and I leave that to the client to find and send over.
