FAQ
What do you need from me to start drafting my drawings?
You can provide 3D CAD models (STEP, IGES, STL, SolidWorks, etc.), dimensioned 2D drawings, hand sketches, or clear photographs of the product from multiple angles.
Do your drawings comply with USPTO and WIPO standards?
Yes. I strictly follow USPTO, EPO, and WIPO rules for line weights, margins, stippling/surface shading, sheet sizes, and proper figure lettering and numbering.
How do you show portions of the product that are not part of the patent claim?
I use solid lines for the claimed ornamental features of your design, and dashed/broken lines to represent environmental or unclaimed subject matter, in accordance with USPTO guidelines.
Is my intellectual property and design kept confidential?
Absolutely. I treat all client files, CAD models, and concepts with 100% confidentiality. I am happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before you send any files.
Can you work directly from my 3D CAD model?
Yes. I can import your CAD files directly and convert them into clean, 2D vector line drawings with accurate orthographic projections and perspective views.
