About this gig
Many people still use CGI scripts like formmails, guest books and hit counters on their web servers. Many of these scripts were originally written twenty or more years ago and some of them don't work well on modern hosting solutions. There is usually a solution though, and I will do all I can to find those solutions.
I have over twenty years of experience writing and installing CGI programs and feel confident that I can fix pretty much any problem that you can throw at me.

I make things from software. And write about them. You may have seen my sites Line of Succession (which shows you the line of succession to the British throne on any date in the last 200 years), TwittElection (which wakes up whenever the UK has a general election and allows you to see what your local candidates are saying on Twitter) or Tower Bridge Data which creates machine-readable data feeds telling you when Tower Bridge will raise. I live in London and I blog on Medium, dev dot to and several other sites.
